Fear…Fear of the unknown, fear of the dark, and fear of the paranoias.
Fear.
I have one, writing. I SUCK at it…
And every person that helped me proofread every book report or college paper has told me so. So, I became that guy who would take three hours to write a six sentence email. Read, proof read, re-read… That’s why I would avoid any email correspondence all together. I hate writing thank you cards and don’t get me into writing code or reports at work. I am inefficient, slow and destroy the English language. I fear it. So how do I overcome this?
Do it.
I read that people who were scared of flying battle their fears by learning how to fly; become a pilot. People of public speaking go to toastmasters or classes and become a better and stronger speaker. Why can’t I do this?

If you had seen my previous attempts at personal blog sites, you would find that this site takes the cake: nice smooth design, easier to navigate, recent and top stories in the front crawl, better integration on social media, etc…
What are my goals? Well first, be a better writer. That takes the top slot. Better meaning by repetitions. But some other goals follow closely behind: make the collective creative and opinionated juices flow, be entertaining, make you think, and be more internet “social”.
A podcast will start on this website with my friend. What it is about, you will find out sometime this summer of 11.
And at the end, I hope to get a little side coin from this with sponsors and/or advertisements that you will ALL love to know about and click right?
I hope, at a minimum, one large story a week for you all to enjoy. That does not mean I won’t slam out just one a week, it may be four smaller stories. Just know that this site will be active in some way. And expect a favorite web clip a week on the side. And please do feel like “like”n me on my facebook fan page.
I just hope to give you more relevant news and opinions on the entertainment industry, reviews in music, TV, and movies, academia architecture, the web, sports, and health issues. More in everything. Same crappy writing, same crappy grammar. I am not a corporation. It’s just little ol’ me behind a keyboard, telling you what I think. Hope you enjoy, and wish me luck.
